She is worshipped by many, and people in villages in India, often have her idols three times larger than the usual size. Learn about this fascinating goddess in this blog post! I am Kaali Maa who dwells in my kingdom which spreads from Goloka to earth. I am the meaning behind immortality, fearlessness and the Goddess of time past present and future. I destroy ignorance from itself when it obstructs you from my grace at all times. I am the Goddess of three worlds. The three periods of time, past, present and future, are mine to govern and I look after each one very carefully. I am the goddess who is eternal light, the fire that rages in man’s own self. I destroy ignorance from within itself when it interferes with your awareness of my presence in all things at all times. The wives of Kaal (Time) worship Kali Maa and then request her to release their husband (Kaal) for a month because they miss him. She grants them their wish but soon she realizes that her husband is missing her and the love they shared together. She sets off on a quest to find him, but on the way she faces many challenges. The film is set in rural India, in the tiny village of Bhuni, where people are still scared of the spirits. The story revolves around 3 wives of Kaal (Time personified) who adore Kali Maa with all their heart and consider her their favorite goddess. The story takes place in India during an event that happened 2000 years ago. It is about three women who worship Goddess Kali the most. They love her more than anything else in this world which is why they were called "Kali Maa's" (literally means 'wife of Kali'). Kali Maa (River Jha), Shalima (Shalu Thakur), and Kalindi (Kalpana Pandit) are three women in a village named Bhuni, who love their Goddess Kali the most. They worship every single day with extreme dedication and love. One day they visit a temple in Katra and they pray to Kali for her blessings and they ask her if she would release their Lord Kali for one whole month so that they can enjoy spending time with him. They love their husband very much and wish to spend more time with him. They then wander to their Lord Kaal and asking his brother Kala (Kaal in Hindi) to release him so that they can be with their husband in the village. Kali Maa and the other two women heard this and it breaks their hearts because they also love their husband very much. Kali Maa couldn't stop thinking about her husband. Her heart is filled with sadness because of the fact that he has been away from her for a month, she then asks Kala to get permission from his family. He asks him if he loves his wife very much, he says "Yes" Then Kala asks him if he wants to spend time with his wife again, Kaal says "yes". cfa1e77820
